Yes, patients have the option to request a certain GP, join the queue for the first available doctor, and also request first 'male' or 'female' doctor. 

To do this, simply select 'Doctor of your choice', 'Any doctor', 'Female doctor only' or 'Male doctor only' depending on your preference. 

The Our Medical app will provide you with real-time updates on your progess in the queue on the homepage. Patients will also receive a notification when they are up next and which GP room to go to. 

On the homepage of the Our Medical app, there is a section for 'eScripts' and 'Documents'. Once you have selected either option, you will be able to view your documents. 

Please ask the GP during your consultation to release these documents to your app. 

Patients are able to make appointments with an allied health professional or specialist by selecting the 'Specialist/Allied' option on the homepage of the app. 

1. Once selcted, select '+ Make a new appointment' and all allied health and specialists will show up on your screen. 
2. Select the allied health professional or specialist you wish to see and then select your preferred date and time. 
3. When you arrive for your appointment, simply open this section off the app and select 'check-in' to notify the allied health professional or specialist that you have arrived. 

Yes, patients who wish to see a GP at Our Medical and do not have a Medicare card or DVA can still book to see a GP via the Our Medical app. 
1. Private patients will need to enter their card details to pay for the appointment. 
2. A tax invoice will be emailed once the consultation has been completed and patients can claim this with their healthfund. 

Yes, dependants can be added on your account. 
1. Select 'Account' in the bottom right corner. 
2. Select 'dependants' and enter their details 

To check multiple patients in, simply follow the check-in process like normal and select all patients who need to see a GP. 

Well Done! It's rare to find an App that is so easy to setup and use. Excellent for walk-in service. Easily added myself and kids to the App and then Checked In. I can pick my GP or choose next available.

I don't say this very often about healthcare solutions however this all offers an excellent, well thought out, intuitive user experience. From the initial sign up through adding dependants and checking into the surgery the interface was responsive and simple to follow - hats off to the team that developed it!

Based off of the impressive functionality of this app alone, these guys are living in 2054

This app is amazing. Can check in from the car, choose your doctor (can see the number of patients in their queue too). You receive a text when you’re next to see the doctor, and it’ll tell you their room number. You can also view doctors’ rosters, like why hasn’t this been a thing?????!!!

It’s good that I can sit in the car watch the phone or listen to music and wait until I get the text message. Once I get the message I walk to the room number and the doctor is walking out to call my name

This centre has utilised the best of technology to fast track checking in and servicing its patients. What a breath of fresh air!
