How do I check if my child is eligible for CDBS?
At the start of each year, the Australian Government will check if your child is eligible for dental benefits under Medicare. If your Medicare online account is linked to myGov you can check your child’s eligibility online.
To do this:
- Sign in to myGov.
- Select Medicare
- Go to History and statements, then Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
Alternatively, if you have the Medicare Express App, go to Menu then Child Dental Benefits Schedule to see if you meet the eligibility requirements.
